Hello and welcome to Haines! Get ready to think and create.
I hope you love your time at Haines as much as I do :) This is my 13th year teaching here. I was a Medford student myself, starting out at Allen school where my grandmother was also a teacher at one point!
This year I am teaching science and social studies as well as animal health and behavior.
I think 6th grade is a fantastic year to learn about study skills, try a new club, sport or instrument, and meet some really cool people. Don't be afraid to challenge yourself this year.
In the afternoons and on the weekends, I can be found riding horses and teaching riding lessons at my family's farm, Flora Lea. I have 10 horses, 3 dogs, a daughter, son, and husband who help keep things running on the farm while I am at school.
