Social Studies
This year we are going to be studying ancient civilizations. We will focus on how civilizations developed. We will learn the characteristics of civilizations and use these to be able to compare and contrast different civilizations.
For class you should always have the following items (all from the supply list)
* pencil, pen, highlighters, colored pencils

NOT on the supply list is a notebook that is COLLEGE RULED and AT LEAST 100 PAGES.
A suggestion is Mead five star brand since the cover is plastic and holds up a little better - sometimes you can find one with a bonus of 20 pages and plastic, moveable dividers. Some stores may have their own brands and that is fine.
