Welcome to 6-3 Social Studies!
I am Mr. Del Rossi and it will be my pleasure to guide you through Ancient History this year. I have been working at The Haines Sixth Grade Center since 2006 doing a job I absolutely love. I have a passion for history and I hope you (or your student) will too by the end of the year!
Recently, a former student saw me at the store and said something very profound to me as we were wrapping up our conversation..."We might not remember every date, fact, or detail that you taught us, but we will always remember the way you taught us about history". About Mr. Del
I have been teaching 6th grade Social Studies here at Haines since September 2006. I hold a BA in Secondary Education from Rowan University and I am certified to teach grades 6-12. I received my masters degree in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University.
My wife (who is also a teacher) and I have a beautiful daughter, Natalie, who is in sixth grade. As a family, we enjoy spending time together on the lake, traveling, watching sports, and playing board games.
