I'm very happy to enter my twentieth year at Haines! I've been teaching since 1976 when I graduated from LaSalle University with a BA in Special Education. I earned my MAT from National University with an emphasis on reading. A South Philly girl, I've also lived in Savannah, Roswell, GA, and Vienna, Va.  My family is all grown now, but there was a time when I had four kids under seven (including a set of twins!). I am passionate about literacy and excited to work with your students and I look forward to a positive and growth-filled year. During my off time, you'll find me baking biscotti, reading, searching teacher TikTok for the latest finds, and watching my horses race!
